Computer Setup

  1. When seated, stand up every 30 minutes and stretch your shoulder blades back

  2. Consider a sit/stand desk with a comfort mat for the feet

  3. Avoid "Text Neck" by brining your phone/tablet up towards eye level rather than hunching forward

  4. Use chair with armrests

  5. Use lumbar cushion on chair to support lower back

  6. Sit upright on your sitting bones to maintain the arch in the lower back if your chair does not have a lumbar support

  7. Have screen in front of you at eye level

  8. Use keyboard tray wide enough to include mouse

  9. Keep phone close to you

  10. Do not cradle phone between shoulder and ear

  11. Use a phone headset
